An American video game developer and publisher, the company is primarily a toy maker, founded in 1989 under the name Trinity Acquisition Corporation. It changed its name in 1991 after a merger and focused on the development and publishing of video games from 1994. The firm enjoyed some financial success for nearly two decades and made several acquisitions of other studios, until 2012 when it had to file for bankruptcy and sold its rights to various competing publishers.
